Belle Fourche Carmen

Notes:

Carmen was trained to milk by Stefani Millman of Emrald Park Farm in Washington 7 months into her first lactation. She has appropriately spaced and sized teats that have a great flow.  She has a large udder and easily gives 3/4 of a gallon per milking.  Tests revealed an average butter fat of 6.31% (one test showed 10% butterfat!). Her protein averages 4.90%.

We acquired Carmen at the age of 13 years old.  Carmen joined us here at Mountain Heritage Farm in May of 2023.
