Gilbert Through the Years
What's in a name?
In all of Eloise's long life, each of her calves have had names from children's books. We have Baloo (a bull) and Matilda (a heifer) here on our farm. Gil is named after Gilbert Blythe, a character from the book "Anne of Green Gables". It was one of our children's favorites!
