For Sale Spotlight: Dexter Bull Mountain Heritage Gilbert

Mountain Heritage Gilbert is a striking young Dexter bull bred for balance, strength, and gentle temperament. Out of Sue × Baloo, he carries generations of proven milking and structural genetics. Gilbert is wild-type red, A2/A2, and homozygous polled — guaranteeing 100% polled calves.
Born March 9, 2025, Gilbert is developing into a correct, typey Dexter bull. At his six-month evaluation, he showed a straight topline, wide hip, clean underline, and strong feet and legs for long-term soundness. His testicles are healthy and correctly sized, and his overall frame projects a mature weight of around 1,000–1,100 pounds at 42–43″ tall.
Even more importantly, Gilbert has the temperament I value in every bull I raise: calm, respectful, and already easy to halter-train. He moves confidently without being pushy and is exceptionally easy to handle for his age.
Gilbert is ADCA registered (#057654), non-chondro, non-PHA, and comes from a fully tested clean herd. He represents the opportunity to improve udders, structure, and disposition in your Dexter program — and he is offered with my standard no-semen-sales contract.
Although I’d love to keep every good bull I raise, it just isn’t possible. Gilbert is exactly the kind of Dexter bull I aim to produce — correct, polled, gentle, and carrying proven milk genetics. If I didn’t already have his sire, Napoleon, working in my program, Gilbert would be staying here. Offering him for sale is a chance for another farm to benefit from the same qualities I value in my herd.
