✨ A Jewel Is Born: 42-Pound Heifer Out of Sapphire

🎥 Precious little girl getting her first colostrum in the pasture.

This morning brought a sparkle to the barn — Sapphire delivered a healthy 42-pound heifer calf! She was quick to get on her feet, and before long, she found her way under her mama to nurse like a pro.

Just like her dam, this little girl deserves a name that shines. Since Sapphire set the tone, we’re keeping with the jewel-inspired theme. Ruby, Topaz, or Opal might suit her perfectly — though with a face like this, she could make any name sparkle.

Every new calf is a reminder of why we love raising Dexters. Each one carries forward the qualities we’ve worked so hard to preserve: healthy, manageable size, and a temperament that makes them a joy to raise.
